Directions to Santa María de DotaFrom San José, take the Panamerican Highway # 2 south. After passing a toll booth and the exit to Tres Rios keep driving up the hill (Ochomogo) and once you are descending stay on the highway turning right and then straight ahead. You will find the exit sign on your left to Cartago downtown, (do not exit here). Keep instead driving straight towards San Isidro del General ("S. Isidro Gral").After approximately 50 km (a road going up the mountain), you will get to a crossroads called el Empalme, where you’ll find a gas station and restaurant. Take the right road to Santa María de Dota, from el Empalme you’ll drive 12 km down. You will continue pass the central park. Half a kilometer after the central park, you will see a fork in the road, veer to the left. About 100 meters after you turn, you will see a sign for Cabinas Cecilia on your left hand side. |
